Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Billy Blimm!
The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Bruno Lombardi and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Johnston misses with a straight left.
Blimm scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Johnston rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Blimm moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Johnston getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
It looks like Billy Blimm has been cut.
Blimm misses with a wild combination.
Blimm misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Blimm throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Johnston.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Blimm throws the left hand but Johnston avoids the punch easily.
Johnston swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Blimm counters with a series of strikes. Johnston will be more careful next time no doubt.

and Blimm counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Johnston is lucky that one didn't land flush.

Blimm wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Johnston has him pressed against the cage.

Johnston misses with a hook.
Blimm throws a left and a right that both miss
and Blimm takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Johnston cracks Blimm with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Blimm looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Johnston finish him?
Blimm is rocked!
That has opened up Billy Blimm's cut even more.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Blimm throws a right hand that Johnston ducks under and follows up with a left that Johnston also avoids with ease.
Johnston feints a kick and comes over the top with a right hand, followed by a left hook - both land, sending Blimm crashing to the mat! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Don Johnston!
