Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Paul Harris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ars Faglio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Harris comes to the ring accompanied by Kanye West - Jesus Walks. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Paul Harris! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Ars Faglio! The judges for this bout are , and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Faglio just misses with a punch to the body.
Paul Harris seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Harris throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Faglio on the side of the head. Harris swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Faglio tries to clinch but Harris moves out of range. Faglio stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Faglio wants it to stay on the feet. Harris closes the distance and clinches up with Faglio, looking for a takedown. Harris pushes Faglio against the ropes but Faglio circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Danga de danga de dang - Faglio scores with a four punch combination!
It looks like Paul Harris has been cut. Harris fails miserably with a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Paul Harris. That's going to take a lot out of him. Harris moves out of range of the strikes. Harris throws a left and a right that both miss
and Faglio counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Harris has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Faglio avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. A battle for position here, against the ropes. With the two fighters working up against the ropes, Faglio just misses with a elbow thrown towards Harris's brow. Faglio creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Harris's defenses. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Harris jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Faglio walks away with a smile on his face. Harris gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Faglio tries to clinch there but Harris circles away.
Harris misses with a body punch
and Faglio holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Harris blocks an elbow strike from Faglio.
Harris tries to pull guard but Faglio holds him up against the ropes and eventually Harris drops back down to his feet.
Faglio lands a nice elbow from the clinch. Faglio prevents the takedown attempt.
Harris tightens his grip and picks Faglio up, before dumping him to the ground. Faglio manages to land in guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Faglio wants to stand and escape but Harris is having none of it. Harris trying to control but Faglio is working from the bottom. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Faglio can do anything to dispel that myth. Harris is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Harris working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Harris trying to control but Faglio is working from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Harris looking to pass the guard. Harris throwing strikes but missing. Faglio utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Harris on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Faglio fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Harris looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Harris is breathing heavily. Harris throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Faglio's waist but Faglio gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Harris off to one side. Faglio tries to clinch up. Good exchange - Faglio coming out on top.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Harris shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Faglio but Faglio pushes him off and we're back to square one. A jab from Faglio finds it's way through Harris's defenses. Faglio closes the distance and pushes Harris back into the ropes. Faglio is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Harris is keeping busy. Harris drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Faglio throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Harris fails to pull guard.
Harris dodges an elbow strike from Faglio.
Harris goes for a takedown attempt but Faglio pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Faglio ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Harris throws a left and a right that both miss
and Faglio counters with a straight right hand.
Harris is rocked! Faglio missing with a left hand there. Harris was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Oh Harris is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Harris ducks under a wild hook from Faglio. Harris seems to have got his legs back now. Faglio tries to clinch but Harris moves out of range. Faglio cracks Harris on the jaw with a powerful right hand and Harris falls backwards against the ropes. Faglio follows up with more strikes that drop Harris to his knees. Faglio keeps the pressure on and the referee jumps in to save Harris! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ars Faglio!
