Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Barry Bonds (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Redd (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bonds's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Barry Bonds - Kanye West. Redd has chosen We Will Rock You as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Barry Bonds! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Jake Redd! The judges for this bout are James Atkins, Sam Margolis and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bonds stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Bonds wants it to stay on the feet. Redd closes the distance and pushes Bonds back into the cage. Redd has clasped his hands together around Bonds's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. Redd in side control, throwing shots but Bonds defends. Redd wants to control but Bonds is keeping him busy. Bonds is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Redd tries to move to mount but Bonds blocks the move with his legs. Bonds is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
That's one minute gone in the round. The strikes coming from Redd are missing the target in this wave of attacks. Redd throwing shots but missing, from side control. Redd wants to lay and pray for a moment but Bonds keeps working.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Redd tries to clinch there but Bonds circles away.
Redd rushes Bonds and presses him up against the cage. Redd landing knees to the body.
Redd pulls guard successfully.
Redd is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bonds got a little sloppy there for a moment and Redd has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Bonds has managed to get both his arms back between Redd's legs - danger averted. Bonds would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Redd is looking for a triangle but Bonds pushes his legs off easily.
Bonds avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Bonds knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Redd on the ground. Redd working for a triangle but Bonds defends it easily.
Redd isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Bonds stacks Redd on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Bonds!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Bonds has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Bonds lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Redd shoots in looking for a takedown. Bonds tries to sprawl out of it but Redd keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Bonds manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Bonds moves into the clinch. Bonds tries to stall but Redd uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Redd tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Bonds avoids it. Bonds blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Redd goes for a takedown attempt but Bonds pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jake Redd dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Bonds lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
It looks like Jake Redd has been cut. Bonds tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Redd paws at him with a jab and circles away. Nice sprawl there from Bonds as Redd shoots in. Redd fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Redd takes a little break here. Bonds wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well. Bonds tries to escape but Redd is in control. Redd tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Bonds is not in a great position here, taking some shots. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bonds is not content to let Redd control the position. Redd throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Redd tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Bonds is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Bonds parries the strikes from Redd easily there. Redd is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Bonds to escape.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. An elbow from Redd crashes against the mat.
Redd postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Bonds tries to clinch up. Redd circles away from the clinch attempt.
Redd shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Redd thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. Bonds trying desperately to get to his feet.
Bonds is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jake Redd showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Jake Redd's cut. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
Bonds tries to clinch up but Redd circles away and keeps his distance. Redd shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Bonds defends it nicely. Redd shoots for a takedown but Bonds saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Barry Bonds is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Redd shoots in and bounces Bonds off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Redd wants to control from the top but Bonds keeps moving.
That's one minute gone in the round. Redd missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Bonds is looking to stand up but Redd isn't so interested in that idea. Redd not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Redd postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Bonds is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Bonds doesn't manage to clinch there - Redd circles away.
Bonds tries to clinch but Redd moves out of range. Bonds gets in close and instigates a clinch. Redd looking for a takedown. Barry Bonds has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jake Redd. Bonds on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Redd is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Bonds gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Redd wants a takedown but no success here.
Redd takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Bonds misses with a hook from the clinch. Redd lands a knee to the body.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Redd is working for takedown but Bonds is calmly controlling the position for now. Bonds takes a knee to the side of the body. Redd jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Bonds walks away with a smile on his face. Redd gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. The fight stays on the outside here - Bonds looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Jab by Bonds. Redd has closed the distance and engaged Bonds in a clinch.
Redd tries for a takedown but Bonds manages to get underhooks.

A short right hand to the side of the head by Bonds. Bonds working some nice short punches in the clinch. Bonds content to slow the pace in the clinch.
Redd pulls guard effortlessly. Redd looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Bonds passes into half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bonds tries to stand but can't do so whilst Redd controls his leg. Jake Redd is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Bonds prevents Redd from improving his position. It looks like Bonds is going to stand back up.
Barry Bonds has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Redd actively working from the bottom here.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Jake Redd. I've got Redd winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
