Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Will Adams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Waldo Short (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Short shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Short shoots in looking for a takedown. Adams tries to sprawl out of it but Short keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Adams manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Adams tries to score a power double leg takedown but Short sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Adams somewhat.

Adams decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Short, up you get!

Short throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Adams was covering up waiting for the punch and Short finishes the takedown easily into guard.
