Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Brad Delphi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Egon Karlsson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Brad Delphi! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Egon Karlsson! The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Illya Tyunina and Fedor Mirinova.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Karlsson fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Delphi shoots in looking for a takedown. Karlsson tries to sprawl out of it but Delphi keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Karlsson manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Delphi looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Karlsson moves into the clinch successfully.
Delphi tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Delphi wants to stall.
Delphi has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Karlsson is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Brad Delphi. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Karlsson changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Delphi fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Karlsson doesn't succeed with the takedown
and Delphi counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Delphi. Delphi pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Karlsson is keeping the position for now. Karlsson throwing strikes off his back to little effect.

Karlsson has a closed guard, preventing Delphi from standing up. Karlsson wants to hit a switch here but Delphi passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Karlsson there! Karlsson is squirming around, avoiding Delphi's attempts to control the action.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Delphi punishing his opponent with strikes. Karlsson is looking to get to half guard. Delphi misses with a head shot. Delphi tries to control but Karlsson wriggling away. Delphi lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Delphi trying to control but Karlsson is having none of it. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Karlsson keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Delphi misses with a head shot.
Delphi working for a submission but Karlsson is keeping him at bay. Delphi is breathing heavily. Karlsson tries to lock up and control but Delphi gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Karlsson is looking to get to half guard.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Delphi tries to control but Karlsson wriggling away. Karlsson tries to improve his position but instead Delphi has taken his back! Karlsson is in bad spot here.
Karlsson defends a rear naked choke attempt by controlling one of Delphi's arms. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Delphi is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Karlsson knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Karlsson for a finish. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.

Karlsson is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Delphi defends well. Karlsson wants to get back to his feet but Delphi is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Karlsson is breathing heavily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Delphi stands and steps away. Karlsson gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Delphi closes this distance looking for a takedown but Karlsson circles away. Delphi tries to clinch but fails miserably and Karlsson counters with a one-two to the body. Delphi tries for a takedown but Karlsson sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Delphi stuffs the takedown. Brad Delphi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Egon Karlsson. Delphi tries to clinch up

 That's two minutes gone in the round. Karlsson throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Delphis head. Delphi is looking to break free of the clinch but Karlsson has double underhooks. Karlsson prevents Delphi from breaking the clinch. Karlsson goes for a takedown attempt but Delphi pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Nice takedown defense from Karlsson. No joy for Delphi on that attempt.
Karlsson shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Delphi is trying to maintain the position but Karlsson is very close to passing his half guard.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Karlsson trying to pass the guard but Delphi defending well. Delphi on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Delphi tries to get out of the position. Karlsson is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Delphi trying to control from the bottom.
Karlsson is working for a submission of some sort.
Delphi throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Karlsson throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
 It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Delphi will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Karlsson displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Karlsson rushes Delphi and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Karlsson wants a takedown.

Delphi clinches but Karlsson breaks the clinch and Karlsson counters with a lovely shot to the body. And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.

Delphi is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Karlsson is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Delphi postures up.

Delphi gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Delphi shoots in but no luck this time. Karlsson fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Karlsson fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Karlsson looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Brad Delphi has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Egon Karlsson. Karlsson displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Delphi. Delphi chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Karlsson can pounce on him.

Karlsson closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Delphi tries to score a body lock takedown but Karlsson shows good agility there to stay on his feet. A short right from Karlsson. Karlsson utilising his Muay Thai to score with a knee to the body.
Karlsson breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

and Delphi counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Karlsson! Karlsson is trying to stand. Delphi controlling from the full mount. Delphi trying to control but Karlsson is having none of it.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Karlsson holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Delphi tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Delphi trying to control but he's not successful this time. Delphi lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Karlsson is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Delphi looking to secure an arm triangle but Karlsson defends it well. Karlsson keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Delphi manages to capitalize on a mistake by Karlsson to take his back! Karlsson is really stuck here.
And that's the end of the fight! Brad Delphi showed his dominance in that final round. I think Delphi has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
