Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Vi Vi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Louis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mike Louis is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Matti Vanhoillinen and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vi lands a jab to Louis's midsection.
Louis dives in and grabs Vi's left leg, looking for a takedown. Vi pushes down on Louis's head and hops out.
Vi throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Louis has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Vi finds it's way round the side to connect with Louis's head.
Vi really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Louis shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Vi's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Louis is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Vi is trying to keep Louis in close.
Louis won't allow Vi to get back to his feet.
Louis wants to control from the top but Vi keeps moving.

Vi stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Louis swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Louis thows a body shot but no joy.
Vi shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Louis counters by clinching up.
Louis breaks from the clinch.
Vi keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Louis on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Vi throws an overhand right that lands on Louis's shoulder, as Louis tries to avoid the shot.
Louis shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Vi pinned against the cage. Vi gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.

Vi wants to stand and escape but Louis is having none of it.

Vi has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Louis can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Vi is on top in guard.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Vi tries to free his leg and advance position but Louis is retaining full guard.

Vi darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Louis moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Vi tries for a takedown but Louis sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Louis gets the takedown into side control.
Louis has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Vi!
Vi is trying to get to the cage to help him get back to his feet.
Louis has control of Vi's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Vi regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Louis tries to control but Vi wriggling away.
Louis throws a strike there. Vi manages to avoid it well and slips a leg under to get to half guard.

Vi bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Louis's head backwards.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mike Louis showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Vi's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!

Louis is trying to drag Vi to the mat but Vi just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Vi jumps guard but Louis stands there with Vi around his waist. Vi gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Vi is looking to control Louis's arms but Louis gets an underhook and turns him. Now Vi has his back to the cage.
Louis keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Vi's efforts to push away.

Louis manages to break the clinch.
Vi throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.
Louis on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Vi tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Louis swivels and escapes.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Vi Vi. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Vi misses with a double jab.
Vi shoots in for a takedown but Louis shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Louis shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Louis was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Louis jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Vi is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Vi and Louis has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Louis stands up and we're back to a striking position.

and Louis counters with a shoot takedown into half guard.
