Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Johnny Rabbit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Antoni Gaudi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Antoni Gaudi is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Johnny Rabbit! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Antoni Gaudi! The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, James Ackerman and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Gaudi shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Gaudi looking to pass the guard. Rabbit is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Gaudi stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Rabbit swivels though and keeps the full guard. Gaudi throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Rabbit works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Gaudi wants to control from the top but Rabbit keeps moving. Rabbit looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Rabbit keeping moving, preventing Gaudi from controlling successfully. Gaudi working some strikes from top position. Rabbit will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Rabbit looking for a guillotine here but Gaudi defends easily.

That's one minute gone in the round. Rabbit utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Rabbit throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Gaudi makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Rabbit is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Gaudi wants to pass the guard but Rabbit is keeping the position. Gaudi postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Gaudi stopping the sweep attempt from Rabbit.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Rabbit throws his legs up looking for a submission but Gaudi uses it to pass to side control.
Rabbit tries to bench press Gaudi off him but Gaudi keeps the position. Rabbit is breathing heavily. Gaudi cracks Rabbit with a big right hand but Rabbit just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

That is naaassty. Gaudi landing strikes. Gaudi is working Rabbit over with some ground and pound from side control. Rabbit escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Gaudi gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Rabbit throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Rabbit escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Gaudi gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Rabbit working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Gaudi doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Gaudi manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Antoni Gaudi dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Rabbit misses with a takedown and Gaudi counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Gaudi lands a couple of decent looking shots. Rabbit manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Gaudi manages to get himself to full guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Gaudi is on top in guard.
Rabbit had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Gaudi is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Rabbit Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Gaudi's back instead. Gaudi tries to roll but Rabbit sticks to his back.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Gaudi rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Rabbit wants to take a breather but Gaudi is having none of it. Gaudi tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. Rabbit tries to pass the half guard into mount. Gaudi knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Rabbit avoids a punch combination nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gaudi changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Rabbit tries to avoid it but Gaudi manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Rabbit to the ground. Rabbit escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Rabbit tries for a takedown but Gaudi circles away easily and Gaudi counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Gaudi is looking to advance position but Rabbit won't allow it. Gaudi drops an elbow to the side of Rabbit's head. Gaudi should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Gaudi is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Rabbit! Gaudi prevents Rabbit from getting the reversal. Gaudi landing strikes from the mount and Rabbit is in trouble!
Rabbit is rocked!
It looks like Johnny Rabbit has been cut. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage! Rabbit is in a horrible position here. Gaudi smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Oh Rabbit is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Gaudi breaks from Rabbit's wrist control and lands an elbow.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Johnny Rabbit's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
