Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Nicholas Rivera!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mark Clark!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, John Roberts and John Kavanagh.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Clark throws a nice looking combination but Rivera bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
A head kick from Clark lands but Rivera takes it in his stride.


It looks like Nicholas Rivera has been cut.
Rivera throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Clark keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Clark throws a right and a left that both miss.
A looping hook to the body misses from Clark. Rivera does a little dance to reset his feet.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Rivera crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Clark - the referee stops the clock and Rivera gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Clark. Rivera manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Clark throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Clark tries to bum rush Rivera with a series of wild strikes but Rivera uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Rivera shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Clark napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Rivera is staying tight to Clark's torso, preventing him from escaping.

Rivera is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Clark looks calm but he's in trouble here. Rivera gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Clark is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Rivera lets go of the hold and Clark can pop his arm back in it's socket.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:03 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Nicholas Rivera!
