Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gucio Gucik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Branden McCormick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Gucik might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Dawaj na ring !!!!. Branden McCormick has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gucio Gucik! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Branden McCormick! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Wesley Smith and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Some wild striking there from McCormick.
Gucik throws a series of punches but McCormick moves out of range. McCormick drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
It looks like Branden McCormick has been cut. Gucik scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent. McCormick on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. McCormick shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than McCormick was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Gucik is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.
McCormick controlling from the full mount. Gucik wants to get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. McCormick content just to control the position here. McCormick stands up from mount. Strange move. Gucio Gucik is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. McCormick looks gassed! Gucik feints and then cracks McCormick's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow McCormick down. Excellent takedown into side control there by McCormick. A lull in the action here. Gucik is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, McCormick asserts his dominance and retains side control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. McCormick wants to lay and pray for a moment but Gucik keeps working. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Gucik is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, McCormick asserts his dominance and retains side control. McCormick has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Gucik! McCormick can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Gucik is looking to escape. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Gucik is trying to stand.
That's three minutes gone in the round. McCormick looking to control but Gucik is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Gucik is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position. McCormick looking to control and managing it successfully. McCormick trying to control but Gucik is having none of it.
Despite being in the dominant position, Branden McCormick just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Gucik tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. McCormick shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Gucik napping and manages to drive through into side control! Gucik is being controlled here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. McCormick advances to mount. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. McCormick takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Gucio Gucik will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Branden McCormick's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Gucik goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Gucik pulls out of a head kick attempt.
McCormick shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Gucik manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. McCormick showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Gucik kicks McCormick off and gets to his feet. Gucik throws a head kick that misses. McCormick shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Gucik is trying to defend but McCormick finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. McCormick content to control rather than advance.

McCormick decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
McCormick stops Gucik from getting back to his feet.
Gucik wants to stand back up but McCormick manages to pass into side control.
Gucik is looking to work his way out of this bad position but McCormick is controlling him well. McCormick looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. McCormick controls the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. McCormick wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Gucik, who protects the arm well. McCormick is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Gucik's shoulder. That is not cool. McCormick goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Gucik rolls with the submission and now he's on top in McCormick's guard! Nice work there by Gucik! McCormick is pulling down on Gucik's head. It's preventing any offense from Gucik, at least for the moment. McCormick's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Gucik postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! McCormick is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Gucik, into his guard. McCormick is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Gucik trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful. Branden McCormick has got the better of the ground game so far. McCormick showing good wrestling skills to control the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Branden McCormick showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Branden McCormick's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
A slapping leg kick lands for Gucik.
McCormick closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Gucik is being controlled here. Gucik is pushing McCormick's head away, looking to escape. McCormick manages to hold on to the position though. Gucik is letting McCormick control him for a moment. McCormick tries to advance to mount but can't. McCormick throwing shots but missing, from side control. Gucik is trying to get back to his feet. McCormick is working Gucik over with some ground and pound from side control. Both fighters are breathing heavily. McCormick is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Gucik pushes McCormick away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, McCormick gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Gucik throws a head kick that half lands.
Gucik throws a sloppy head kick and McCormick moves out of range easily. Gucik blocks a head kick by McCormick.
Gucik tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. McCormick throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Gucik was covering up waiting for the punch and McCormick finishes the takedown easily into guard. McCormick prevents Gucik from getting back to his feet. Gucik can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as McCormick controls the pace. McCormick passes Gucik's left leg - he's now in half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. McCormick is figuring out what he wants to do next. McCormick is looking for a kimura here.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Gucik tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. McCormick rushes Gucik and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. McCormick manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. McCormick looking to hit a scissor sweep but Gucik is one step ahead there. Gucik wants to control from the top but McCormick keeps moving. McCormick controlling the position. McCormick looking for a sweep. Not yet McCormick, not yet. McCormick is pulling down on Gucik's head to control his posture.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Gucik wants to control from the top but McCormick keeps moving. Gucik has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. McCormick pulls Gucik in to control the position. McCormick preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Gucik is fighting to break McCormick's control of his arms but McCormick is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Gucik looking to sit in guard and control but McCormick gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Gucik wants to get back to his feet but McCormick is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
And that's the end of the fight! Branden McCormick comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think McCormick has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
