Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Cassius Clay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Junior Tubarao (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Cassius Clay!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Junior Tubarao!
The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Thiago Cunha and Matheus Silva.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tubarao gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Tubarao tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Tubarao wants to hit a switch here but Clay passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Tubarao there!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Clay fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Tubarao looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

and Clay counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Clay.
Clay wants to control from the top but Tubarao keeps moving.
Clay stands and steps away. Tubarao gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

and Clay holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Clay is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.
Tubarao drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Clay gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Cassius Clay has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Junior Tubarao.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Clay creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

and Clay moves into the clinch.

Clay drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Clay jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
