The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smilehoven smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

Smilehoven is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Beale had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Smilehoven moves into range and clinches up with Beale.

Beale gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Beale takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Beale is breathing heavily.
Smilehoven closes the distance and lands a one-two.

A jab from Smilehoven finds it's way through Beale's defenses.
Oh Beale is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Beale swings for the body but Smilehoven moves out of range.
Beale wants to slow Smilehoven down by chopping away at his legs.
Beale seems to have got his legs back now.
Smilehoven tries to close the distance and clinch up but Beale swats him away and circles back towards the center.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Smilehoven has taken the fight to the clinch.
Beale really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Smilehoven's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Smilehoven. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.
BOOM! Smilehoven lands a beautiful left hook that drops Beale. Beale tries to recover but Smilehoven is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Beale lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
