The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bob sizes up Rogers with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.
Rogers scores with a jab to the jaw.
It looks like Knockout Bob has been cut.
Bob connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Good exchange - Rogers coming out on top.
Bob misses with a wild combination.
Rogers blocks a leg kick.
Rogers takes a body punch but keeps moving.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Bob pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Bob wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Bob misses with a body shot.
Bob fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Rogers looks gassed!
Rogers tries to close the distance and clinch but Bob swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Rogers takes one to the side of the head.
No joy there for Bob, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Bob scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Rogers walks into a stiff left hand from Bob.
It looks like Cody Rogers has been cut.
Bob misses with a low kick.
Rogers has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Bob finds it's way round the side to connect with Rogers's head.
Bob swinging wildly here.
Rogers avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Bob throws a jab when Rogers was well out of range.
Rogers with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Bob to score with a decent uppercut.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Bob fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Rogers is out of range.
Bob lands a nice shot that snaps Rogers's head back.
Rogers is rocked!
Bob drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Rogers right on the button. Rogers goes down! Bob follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Bob gets the win via TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:14 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Knockout Bob!
