Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Just Case (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brian Lobe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 8 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Brian Lobe!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Seu Braga and Emerson Jorge.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lobe misses with a takedown attempt - Case sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Case lands with a kick to the temple. Lobe shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

It looks like Brian Lobe has been cut.
Lobe fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Lobe checks a leg kick nicely.
Case tries to clinch but Lobe is having none of it.
Lobe has a takedown stuffed.
Just Case has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brian Lobe.
Case throws a head kick but Lobe moves out of range.
No joy there for Case, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Case looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Lobe fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Case closes the distance and clinches.
Lobe jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Case walks away with a smile on his face. Lobe gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Lobe ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Case moves away.
Lobe fails with a takedown attempt.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Lobe.
Lobe shoots in for a takedown but Case shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Lobe circles away from the clinch attempt.

Lobe bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Case is not in a great position here, taking some shots.
Case tries to buck Lobe off but Lobe is having none of it.
Case sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
Case is trying to stand.
Case is trying to control but can't.
Case is looking to escape.
Lobe is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard.
Lobe forces his way into half guard.
Lobe has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Case is positioning himself well to prevent Lobe advancing to mount.
Case tries to get to full guard but Lobe has control of the leg.

Case has his hands clasped together around Lobe's back. He's all about the action.
Lobe prevents Case from improving his position.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Lobe shoots in for a takedown but Case shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Case feints and then cracks Lobe's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Lobe down.
Lobe dives in and grabs Case's left leg, looking for a takedown. Case pushes down on Lobe's head and hops out.
Lobe takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Case fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Lobe, pushing him back against the cage.
Nice body punch from Case.
Lobe looks gassed!
Case landing some nice looking knees to the body.
Case gets through Lobe's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head.
Lobe tries for a takedown. No joy.
Case misses with a knee to the head.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Case's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Lobe uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Case.
Case tests Lobe's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Case ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Lobe moves away.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Lobe shoots in and drives through. Case sprawls well.

Case has closed the distance and engaged Lobe in a clinch.
Lobe takes an elbow to the forehead.
Case is working Lobe over against the cage.
Case gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.

Case breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Lobe shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Case as he avoids it easily.
Case is looking to clinch but Lobe is avoiding it.
Lobe fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Case clinches up with Lobe and pushes him back against the cage.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
A short right from Case on the inside.
Case stalls.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Case lands on the inside with an uppercut.

Case breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Lobe fails with the takedown.
Case misses with a two punch combination.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Just Case dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Brian Lobe's cut.
That's time! Case's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Lobe misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Case.
Lobe shoots in and drives through. Case sprawls well.
Just Case is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Lobe tries for a takedown but Case sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Lobe looks to score with a jab to the body but Case is just out of range.
Lobe fails with a takedown attempt.
Just Case has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Brian Lobe.
Case tries to clinch up.
Case catches Lobe with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Case will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Lobe shoots in for a double leg but Case sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Lobe shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Case but Case pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Case digs a good hook to Lobe's body.
Case lands a body shot.

Case forces Lobe back against the cage and clinches.
Lobe is breathing heavily.
Case lands a right hand.
Case lands a nice uppercut.

Nice body punch from Case.
Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Case obliges.
Case stalling in the clinch.

Case breaks from the clinch.
Case throws a series of punches but Lobe avoids them all with ease.
Lobe has a takedown stuffed.
Case is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Case bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Lobe's head backwards.

Lobe is rocked!
Case throws a nasty head kick that just misses. He throws another kick to the head of his opponent and almost takes it off! Lobe crumples to the floor and the fight is over!
