The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
von petre slips a jab and a cross from Pettimore.
Pettimore throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Pettimore takes a swing at von petre's ribcage but misses.
Excellent takedown into side control there by von petre.
Pettimore is not content to let von petre control the position.
von petre is really struggling to control Pettimore but he's trying to hold on to the position.
The strikes coming from von petre are missing the target in this wave of attacks.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Pettimore lands a left and a right that send von petre crashing to the mat, dazed. Pettimore thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

von petre drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and von petre jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Lawrence Pettimore's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
