Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between BJ Penn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Glenn Edwards (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Penn's entrance music is Hawaii Song. A fine choice. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 2 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, BJ Penn!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Glenn Edwards!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Gwen Towbar and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Edwards has managed to clinch.
Edwards escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Edwards drops Penn with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Penn looks back up at him and smiles so Edwards waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
It looks like BJ Penn has been cut.
Penn throws a series of punches but Edwards moves out of range.
Penn swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Edwards darts in and clinches Penn up against the cage.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Edwards connects with a nasty looking knee right to Penn's face.
Edwards digs a right hand into Penn's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Penn's gas tank.
Edwards lands an elbow inside.
Edwards has Penn pressed against the cage, preventing Penn from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Penn is fighting off a takedown attempt but Edwards is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Penn to the mat. Penn regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Penn preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Edwards stands up and waves to Penn to follow him.
Edwards displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Penn.
Edwards sends Penn crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Edwards is motioning to the referee to let Penn up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!
Penn is rocked!
Penn is breathing heavily.
Penn throws a series of punches but Edwards moves out of range.
Edwards forces Penn back against the cage and clinches.
Edwards pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Edwards scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Edwards rushes Penn and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Edwards escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Edwards circles away from the clinch attempt
and Edwards counters with a nice body shot.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Edwards connects with a nice cross there... Penn is looking wobbly and Edwards recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Penn to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Edwards jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Glenn Edwards!
