PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jeff Riddle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gregory Wilson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wilson has chosen Na Szczycie as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Wilson feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Wilson stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Wilson wants it to stay on the feet.

Riddle bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Riddle swings for the body but Wilson moves out of range.
Horrible takedown by Wilson or perhaps it was just good defense by Riddle which made him look bad.
Riddle avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

and Riddle counters with a series of strikes. Wilson will be more careful next time no doubt.
Gregory Wilson has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Jeff Riddle is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Riddle, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
