Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vj Castillo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jarred Smith (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Vj Castillo has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Vj Castillo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Jarred Smith! The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Roosa Järviläinen and Marco Blurström.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Smith is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Castillo's half guard. Castillo looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Castillo tries to roll over but Smith keeps him under control. Smith perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Smith thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Smith content to control rather than advance.
That's one minute gone in the round. Smith stands up out of the half guard. Smith shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Smith showed some decent athleticism there. Smith gets to his feet - back to striking we go! Smith clinches up against the cage. Smith has Castillo pressed against the cage, preventing Castillo from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Smith gets a trip takedown into half guard. Smith is controlling the pace.
That's two minutes gone in the round. I looks like Smith might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Smith decides to return to a standing position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Smith shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Castillo manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Smith is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Despite being in the dominant position, Jarred Smith just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Smith scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Smith happy to just control the position for now. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Castillo might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jarred Smith dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Smith is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Castillo's half guard. Smith prevents Castillo from standing back up.

Smith passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Castillo! Smith looking to control and managing it successfully. Jarred Smith has got the better of the ground game so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Smith is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Castillo to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Castillo shrugs it off. Smith content just to control the position here.

Castillo gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Smith to score an easy takedown into full guard. Smith controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Smith passes into half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Smith sitting and controlling from the half guard. Smith passes to side control. Smith decides to stand up, so the ref orders Castillo to his feet. Smith takes the fight into the clinch. Smith breaks from the clinch.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jarred Smith showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
Smith looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Smith is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount! Smith looking to control and managing it successfully. The referee warns Castillo that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Smith lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Castillo hang on? Smith sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Castillo could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Smith stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet. Vj Castillo is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
That's one minute gone in the round. Smith feints and as Castillo raises his hands in defense, Smith changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Smith seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Castillo wants to hit a switch here but Smith passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Castillo there! Smith looking to control and managing it successfully.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Smith manages to capitalize on a mistake by Castillo to take his back! Castillo tries to escape the position.
Smith biding his time, looking for the opening.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Let's hope that Smith has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Despite being in the dominant position, Jarred Smith just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Smith shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Smith was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Smith with a couple of short strikes. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Smith controlling the position easily from mount. Smith working for a submission but Castillo is keeping him at bay. Smith has hold of Castillo's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Castillo manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
And that's the end of the fight! Jarred Smith comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Smith has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
