The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Raynor tries to close the distance and clinch up but Takura swats him away and circles back towards the center. Takura throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Raynor's waist but Raynor gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Takura off to one side. The fight stays on the outside here - Raynor looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Takura changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Raynor looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Takura in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Raynor is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Ian Takura!
