Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Yuri Orlov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Richard LaRocque (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Orlov might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Only The Wind Remembers My Name. LaRocque has chosen sleepless night - by King Diamond as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
LaRocque slaps away a takedown attempt from Orlov, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Orlov gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows LaRocque to score an easy takedown into full guard.
LaRocque thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Orlov shoots for a double leg takedown but LaRocque sprawls well. He's pushed Orlov's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Orlov shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with LaRocque but LaRocque pushes him off and we're back to square one.

and Orlov counters with a low kick, right behind LaRocque 's knee.
Orlov swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Nice body punch from Orlov.
Orlov rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but LaRocque moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Yuri Orlov has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Richard LaRocque.

Orlov feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if LaRocque can do anything to dispel that myth.
