Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Steve Young (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryu Yamamoto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Young's entrance music is Blue Öyster Cult's Godzilla. A fine choice. Yamamoto comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Daft Punk's Robot Rock kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Steve Young! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Ryu Yamamoto! The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, James Atkins and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Yamamoto is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Young's half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Yamamoto trying to mount his opponent but Young defends it. Yamamoto should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Young regains full guard. Nicely done. Young looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Yamamoto must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Yamamoto wants to pass the guard but Young is keeping the position. Yamamoto is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Young bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Yamamoto's guard. Young is in close to Yamamoto's body, working some short punches and elbows. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Yamamoto can do anything to dispel that myth. Young pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Yamamoto is keeping the position for now. Young will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Young slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Young has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Yamamoto is looking for a sweep. Young tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Young advances to full mount.
That's one minute gone in the round. Young landing strikes, looking to finish! Oooooh, big shot lands for Young! Yamamoto is hurt baaadly! Young is firing away with more strikes - Yamamoto is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
