Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Isaac Moore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carlos Machete (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carlos Machete has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
15 - 11 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Isaac Moore! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Carlos Machete! The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Gregory Folan and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Machete misses with a series of wild punches.
Machete shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Moore is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Moore sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Machete is looking to stall here but Moore recovers full guard. Moore looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Machete throwing strikes but missing. Machete must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Machete throws a strike but Moore rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
That's one minute gone in the round. Moore trying to control the position from guard on top but Machete is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Machete can do anything to dispel that myth. Machete pushes Moore off and gets back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Moore shoots and misses so Machete counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Machete loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Machete trying to control but Moore is working from the bottom. Moore is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Machete defends well. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Moore has a closed guard, preventing Machete from standing up. Machete with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Machete throws a nice looking combination but Moore bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Machete throws a right hand that Moore ducks under and follows up with a left that Moore also avoids with ease. Moore fails with the takedown and Machete counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Machete. Moore working for a triangle but Machete defends it easily.
Moore is breathing heavily. Machete throws and elbow that misses. Moore uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Machete's guard. Nice move by Moore! Machete looking for a sweep. Not yet Machete, not yet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Carlos Machete dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Machete misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Machete lands an overhand right. Machete throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Moore. Machete tries to clinch but Moore is having none of it. Machete throws a chopping leg kick but Moore manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Carlos Machete seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Machete scores with a jab. Moore tries for a takedown but Machete circles away easily and Machete counters with a takedown into side control. Carlos Machete has got the better of the ground game so far. Machete throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Moore works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure. Machete thows a huge punch but Moore dodges it nicely.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Machete throws a right hand that Moore ducks under and follows up with a left that Moore also avoids with ease.
That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Machete breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Moore gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Machete counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Isaac Moore. That's going to take a lot out of him. Machete gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Machete is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Moore can't fight it off and eventually Machete manages to take the fight to the floor. Moore looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Moore wants to sweep but no luck.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Machete stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Moore swivels though and keeps the full guard. Machete wants to stand but Moore has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Machete throws and elbow that misses. Moore uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Machete's guard. Nice move by Moore! Moore prevents Machete from getting back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Moore trying to stand up but can't free himself from Machete's guard. Machete pulls Moore in close to his closed guard and prevents Moore from doing any damage or advancing position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Carlos Machete showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Moore's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Machete wants to control from the top but Moore keeps moving. Machete tries to free his leg and advance position but Moore is retaining full guard. Moore avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Machete postures up in Moore's guard and throws a big left but Moore blocks it. Machete landing with the ground and pound. Machete trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Machete pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Moore is keeping the position for now.
That's one minute gone in the round. Machete not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Machete changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Moore looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Moore dodges the ground and pound from Machete. Machete throwing shots but missing, from side control. Machete tries to stand but Moore is controlling his head. Machete throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Moore works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure. Moore looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Moore stuffs the takedown. Machete works over Moore's head and body with a nice combination. Machete bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Moore tries to buck Machete off but Machete is having none of it. Machete working the ground and pound but Moore is defending the strikes. The ground and pound from Machete seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent. Machete really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Moore. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Machete trying to control the action but Moore is working from the bottom. Moore is letting Machete control him for a moment. Machete working the ground and pound from side control. Machete wants to control but Moore is keeping him busy.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Machete working the ground and pound. Machete controlling from side mount. Machete throwing shots but missing, from side control. Moore is looking to regain half guard here but Machete keeps moving and retains side control. Machete cracks Moore with a big elbow. Isaac Moore has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Carlos Machete is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Machete tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
And that's the end of the fight! Carlos Machete comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Machete has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
