Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Petteri Pyykkonen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pekka Lipponen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Petteri Pyykkonen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Pekka Lipponen!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Johanna Lukiainen and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lipponen jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Pyykkonen shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Lipponen defends it nicely.
Pyykkonen keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Lipponen.
Pyykkonen throws a right hand that Lipponen ducks under and follows up with a left that Lipponen also avoids with ease.
Pyykkonen tries to close the distance and clinch but Lipponen swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Lipponen tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Pyykkonen was well out of range. Poor timing from Lipponen.
Pyykkonen fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Lipponen avoids it really well and circles away.
Lipponen moves out of range of the body kick from Pyykkonen.
Lipponen bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Pyykkonen takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Lipponen throws a nice looking combination but Pyykkonen bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Pyykkonen throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
enabling Lipponen to counter with a crisp jab.
Pyykkonen takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Pyykkonen throws a combination that misses
and Lipponen counters with a low kick, right behind Pyykkonen 's knee.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Pyykkonen fails with the takedown
and Lipponen counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Pyykkonen is rocked!
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Petteri Pyykkonen. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Lipponen lands a huge takedown. Pyykkonen is out but the ref is slow to react and Lipponen lands 3 more undefended punches before the fight is stopped. Brutal finish. Pyykkonen lies on the canvas for a good minute before the doctors bring him round. Good to see he's OK.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:15 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Pekka Lipponen!
