Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Edilberto Bayagbag (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fellipe Briz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Briz is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Go night night. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bayagbag shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Bayagbag decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Briz avoids a strike by Bayagbag and manages to complete a very nice reversal in the process, to end up in Bayagbag's guard! Fantastic escape!

and Bayagbag counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Briz looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Bayagbag has picked Briz up and slammed him! Briz can't keep hold of the triangle and Bayagbag manages to pass to side control!

Briz got a little sloppy there for a moment and Bayagbag has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Briz has managed to get both his arms back between Bayagbag's legs - danger averted.

Bayagbag shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Briz's guard.

Bayagbag seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Briz does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Bayagbag wants to pass the guard but Briz is keeping the position.
Briz isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Bayagbag stacks Briz on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Bayagbag!
Bayagbag misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Bayagbag, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
