Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Remy Lava (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcus Falaris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lava comes to the cage accompanied by Numero 1. Falaris comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Single Ladies - Brazilian Version kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
15 - 9 - 0, fighting out of New York, Remy Lava! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Marcus Falaris! The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, Reed Andrews and Columbo Gatti.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lava checks a low kick from Falaris. Lava shoots in and drives through. Falaris sprawls well. A cross from Lava lands. Falaris avoids a punch combination nicely.
Lava throws a jab but it's blocked by Falaris. Falaris takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him. Falaris throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Falaris scores with a nice body kick.
Falaris fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Lava checks it well. Lava throws the left hand but Falaris avoids the punch easily. A lazy left from Lava finds it's target. Lava stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Falaris. A nice inside leg kick there by Falaris. That's going to slow Lava down. Lava misses the jab. Falaris lands a head kick!
Falaris throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lava throws a hook to the side of Falaris's head but Falaris sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Falaris is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Falaris uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Lava. A clash of legs there as Falaris blocks the low kick. Falaris lands with a slapping head kick. Lava misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Falaris.
Lava throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Lava takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Falaris looks to score with a jab to the body but Lava is just out of range. Lava throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Falaris stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Lava scores with a punch to the head. Lava connects with a body shot. Lava on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Falaris moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Lava misses with a straight left.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lava tries to bum rush Falaris with a series of wild strikes but Falaris uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Falaris misses with a body shot.
Falaris gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Falaris wants to stand up but Lava is controlling him. Lava tries to free his leg and advance position but Falaris is retaining full guard. That's three minutes gone in the round. Falaris wants to get back to his feet but Lava is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Lava drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Falaris dives on top into guard. Falaris would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Falaris must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Falaris is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. Falaris really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lava. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Lava trying to control the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Lava escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Falaris gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Falaris wants to get up but he can't break Lava's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Lava is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Lava has an active guard here but Falaris has managed to pass into half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Marcus Falaris will probably get the nod. That's time! Lava's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Lava tries to land a front kick but Falaris steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. This fight brought to you by 5M nutrition - it's mmmmm tasty. Nice jab by Falaris. Falaris ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Lava throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Lava crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Falaris - the referee stops the clock and Lava gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Falaris. Lava manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Lava misses with a jab to the body
letting Falaris counter with a right hand. Lava throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Falaris displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Lava throws out the jab. Good leg kick by Falaris there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Falaris throws a sloppy head kick and Lava moves out of range easily. Falaris takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
That's one minute gone in the round. An inside leg kick lands from Falaris. Falaris fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Lava. Falaris throws a leg kick which misses Lava's front leg but catches the back leg as Lava tries to avoid it. Lava on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Falaris. Falaris obviously looking to wear him down.
Falaris throws a leg kick that is checked and Lava cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Marcus Falaris seems to be getting the better of the standup. Lava misses with a straight right. Falaris turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Marcus Falaris is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. A head kick from Falaris lands but Lava takes it in his stride. Falaris misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Remy Lava is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Lava thows a body shot but no joy. A good leg kick by Falaris. Falaris connects with a high kick. Lava swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Falaris finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Falaris throws a mid kick that lands with a slap. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Falaris steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Lava. Falaris fakes the leg kick and cracks Lava in the body. Falaris lands a head kick!
Falaris connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Falaris feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Lava's calf. Falaris with a body punch. A glancing blow. Falaris chopping away at his opponent's legs.

Lava is rocked! A head kick by Falaris - that's a beauty! Lava is out but he's somehow still standing... he's going... going... gone. Like a drunk walking down the middle of the road, the inevitable face plant follows and the delayed knockout arrives. Even Falaris can't help but laugh at the bizarre end to this one!
