Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Jerome McCool (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brad Hallow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hallow has chosen AC/DC - Hells Bells as his entrance music. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jerome McCool! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Brad Hallow! The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Jonathan Paton and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McCool misses with the combination.
Hallow tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Hallow defends well against a solid takedown attempt from McCool. Hallow tries to close the distance and clinch up but McCool swats him away and circles back towards the center. Hallow defends well against a solid takedown attempt from McCool. The fight moves into the clinch position. Hallow lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down McCool. Hallow wants the takedown. McCool is fighting it off but Hallow persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in McCool's guard against the cage. Hallow stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. McCool swivels though and keeps the full guard. McCool tries to land a sweep but no joy. McCool wants to control but Hallow passes easily into half guard.
McCool wants to get back to his feet. Hallow is trying to work for a kimura but McCool is defending well.
That's one minute gone in the round. McCool regains full guard. Nicely done. McCool will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Hallow postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! McCool is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Hallow, into his guard. McCool throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. McCool throws a strike but Hallow rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Hallow pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. McCool is keeping the position for now. McCool trying to keep a closed guard but Hallow is proving a slippery customer.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Hallow drops back, looking for a kneebar! McCool looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. McCool looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from McCool! McCool decides to stand up, so the ref orders Hallow to his feet. McCool shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Hallow pinned against the cage. Hallow gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jerome McCool. That's going to take a lot out of him. Hallow stuffs the takedown attempt from McCool. McCool gets slowly back to his feet. McCool tries to keep at a distance but Hallow has taken the fight into the clinch. Hallow lands an uppercut. Hallow tries for a takedown but McCool manages to get underhooks.

McCool rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Hallow moves out of range and avoids them all easily. McCool misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Hallow fails in his attempt to clinch. Hallow tries to close the distance and clinch but McCool swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. McCool lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Hallow circles away quickly and effectively. Hallow moves into range and clinches up with McCool. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hallow lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. A right hook to the body lands for Hallow.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Hallow is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! McCool is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! McCool has escaped and now he's on top!
That's three minutes gone in the round. McCool is pushing down on Hallow's leg trying to pass to half guard. Hallow is fighting to maintain full guard but McCool has managed to sneak the leg through. McCool tries to stand but his arm is trapped. McCool throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. McCool is looking to advance position but Hallow won't allow it. Hallow makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Hallow. McCool loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. McCool looking to pass the guard. Hallow looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Brad Hallow showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Jerome McCool's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!

Hallow leaves McCool with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Hallow keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jerome McCool. That's going to take a lot out of him. Hallow is looking to clinch. Hallow feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Hallow tries to free his leg and advance position but McCool is retaining full guard. Hallow stops McCool from standing up. Hallow thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Hallow works a leg free and moves into half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. McCool is looking for a sweep. Hallow is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hallow is working for a submission of some sort.
Hallow frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Hallow jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but McCool manages to avoid the submission attempt. Brad Hallow has got the better of the ground game so far. McCool gets back to half guard.

Hallow maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! McCool could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Hallow has cracked it and McCool is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Hallow!
