Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Steve McNiff! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, David Quake! The judges for this bout are William Gold, Chris Edwards and Steven Brown.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McNiff throws a right and a left that both miss. Quake looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! McNiff scores with a nice strike. No joy there for McNiff, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Quake slips a jab and a cross from McNiff.
McNiff drops Quake with a beautiful combination! Quake stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - McNiff is looking for the KO!
Quake is rocked!
It looks like David Quake has been cut. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! McNiff connects with a stiff jab that staggers Quake - oh and he follows up with a huge uppercut that knocks him out cold! Man, that was brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Steve McNiff!
