Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 10 - 0, fighting out of London, donald flump! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Hole In! The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, James Glass and Donald Grub.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! In takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. flump rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but In moves out of range and avoids them all easily. flump throws a right and a left that both miss. flump fails to land with a series of punches.
A punch combination from flump misses. In drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. In showing good wrestling skills to control the position. flump keeping moving, preventing In from controlling successfully. In stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. flump swivels though and keeps the full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. flump preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. In trying to control the position from guard on top but flump is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's one minute gone in the round. In working some strikes from top position. In lands a couple of digs. In postures up and lands a big shot to flump's brow. flump will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. In is on the wrong end of a couple of strikes there. In postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. In got a little sloppy there for a moment and flump has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, In has managed to get both his arms back between flump's legs - danger averted. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. In trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. flump wants to sweep here but In controlling him for the moment. In wants to control from the top but flump keeps moving. In keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of flump's head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. In makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. In is stalling in the full guard. flump trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! In advances to half guard. flump punching from the bottom.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. In connects with a nice short shot to flump's temple. In controlling the action here. In slips a nice elbow through flump's hands, connecting with flump's forehead. In is thwarting flump's attempts to control the position. flump tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land. flump slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. In lands a couple of decent looking shots. In lands a couple of elbows. flump looking for a triangle here. In is fighting it but it looks tight! flump pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, In is tapping out - this one is all over!
