PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Yoshihiro Hokkiedo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pedricio Warum (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hokkiedo changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Warum looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Warum explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!
Hokkiedo lands a two punch combo.

Hokkiedo shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Hokkiedo knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Warum on the ground.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Hokkiedo not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Warum trying to hold on to Hokkiedo's head to control him but Hokkiedo postures up.
Hokkiedo working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.
Hokkiedo thows a huge punch but Warum dodges it nicely.
Hokkiedo throwing shots but Warum is blocking nicely.
Hokkiedo is trying to control the action in half guard but Warum is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Warum tries to roll over but Hokkiedo keeps him under control.

Hokkiedo tries to stand but can't do so whilst Warum controls his leg.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Warum preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head.
Warum wants to get back to his feet.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.

Hokkiedo shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Hokkiedo goes for an armbar but Warum turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Warum.

Warum thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Warum passes into half guard.
Hokkiedo is looking to get back to full guard here but Warum has managed to pass to side control instead.
Hokkiedo working to try and regain half guard.
Hokkiedo is breathing heavily.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Warum working for a submission but Hokkiedo is keeping him at bay.

Warum working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
Warum controlling the pace for now.
Warum wants to take Hokkiedo's back here but Hokkiedo is holding on to an arm, himself looking to escape.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Hokkiedo really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Warum manages to capitalize on a mistake by Hokkiedo to take his back!
Warum not allowing Hokkiedo to control his hands.

Warum working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Hokkiedo is doing well to defend. Warum seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Hokkiedo is forced to tap and this one is over!
