Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Krystofer K (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eduardo Antunes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Antunes has chosen Surfista Calhorda by Replicantes as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. This should be a great matchup!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Krystofer K! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Eduardo Antunes! The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Steve Smith and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Antunes shoots in for a takedown but K shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Antunes throws a series of punches but K avoids them all with ease. Antunes gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Antunes is trying to keep K in close.
K with a flurry of punches that miss. Antunes is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. K pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Antunes is keeping the position for now. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. K drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Antunes dives on top into guard. Antunes trying to control the position from guard on top but K is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. K looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Antunes works his way into side control. Antunes postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. K is not content to let Antunes control the position. Antunes is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. K knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Antunes looks gassed! Antunes stands up and beckons K to his feet. Krystofer K seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. K fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

Antunes thows a big elbow that misses. K keeping moving, preventing Antunes from controlling successfully. Antunes working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of K's head. There's a bit of a scramble here and now K is on top in guard.

Antunes thows a huge punch but K dodges it nicely.
Antunes is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but K still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, K has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

K misses with a takedown and Antunes counters by clinching up. Antunes throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.

Antunes dips to his left and cracks K with an uppercut! Antunes bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. K tries to get back to half guard but can't. Antunes is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. K knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Antunes is looking to take a break and control but K is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. K shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Antunes manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
That's four minutes gone in the round. K works over Antunes with some ground and pound from guard. K stopping the sweep attempt from Antunes. K distracts Antunes with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. K drops back, looking for a kneebar! Antunes looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Antunes looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Antunes! Antunes tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Antunes is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but K is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

K is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Both fighters are breathing heavily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. K has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Antunes is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. K can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Antunes throwing strikes here but K is writhing around nicely and avoiding any serious damage.
Antunes jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but K manages to avoid the submission attempt. Antunes goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, K rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Antunes's guard! Nice work there by K! Eduardo Antunes is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. K postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Antunes is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of K, into his guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Eduardo Antunes comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Antunes has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
