The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smith avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Bravo throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Bravo is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Smith.
Bravo looks to land a combination but Smith avoids it well.
Bravo misses with a two punch combination.
Chuck Bravo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Excellent takedown into side control there by Smith.
Smith prevents Bravo from escaping the position.
Bravo defending against the ground and pound.

Smith looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.

Smith can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Bravo is looking to escape.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Smith holds on and takes a little breather.

Bravo tries to stand but Smith is controlling from the bottom.
Bravo wants to stand and escape but instead Smith has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
