Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Putt Birdie! The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Donald Grub and Daniel Bishop.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McMulligan looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Birdie looks to score with a jab to the body but McMulligan is just out of range. Birdie connects with a right hand. McMulligan shakes it off. McMulligan tries to clinch up but Birdie circles away and keeps his distance. McMulligan takes a shot to the eye socket. That's gotta hurt. Birdie throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
McMulligan tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Birdie paws at him with a jab and circles away. McMulligan misses with the combination.
McMulligan misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
McMulligan throws a hook but Birdie avoids it easily. McMulligan wants to clinch up but Birdie keeps it at a distance. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. McMulligan misses with a double jab.
Birdie misses with a hook. McMulligan shoots in and drives through. Birdie sprawls well. McMulligan fails to land with a series of punches.
McMulligan shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Birdie defends it nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round. McMulligan moves in looking to clinch but Birdie pushes him off. Birdie lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Birdie stuffs the takedown attempt from McMulligan. McMulligan gets slowly back to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Irwin McMulligan. That's going to take a lot out of him. McMulligan is breathing heavily. McMulligan loads up on a big right hand but Birdie slips the punch. Birdie scores with a hook to the body. Birdie bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of McMulligan's head. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Birdie digs a good hook to McMulligan's body.

Birdie uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Birdie lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Irwin McMulligan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Birdie with a nice cross. Nice cross by Birdie. McMulligan takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Birdie punishes McMulligan's body with a nice straight punch. Birdie fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. McMulligan with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Birdie to score with a decent uppercut. This is turning into a torrid day at the office for McMulligan. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery. Birdie bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Birdie lands a straight punch to the body, keeping McMulligan at a distance.
Birdie lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Birdie lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. McMulligan tries to clinch but Birdie is having none of it. Birdie jabs at McMulligan's body. Birdie keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
McMulligan on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Birdie thuds his right hand into McMulligan's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Birdie is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! McMulligan had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté. Birdie throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Birdie connects with a jab. McMulligan looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.
That's four minutes gone in the round. McMulligan takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it. Nice straight punches there by Birdie. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Birdie.
McMulligan is rocked! McMulligan takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Oh McMulligan is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Birdie lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as McMulligan backs up against the cage.
Birdie lands a nice looking body shot.
McMulligan seems to have got his legs back now. Birdie keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
McMulligan doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Birdie jabs McMulligan right on the nose. McMulligan blinks but takes it well. McMulligan takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Birdie lands with an uppercut that bounces McMulligan off the cage and back into rage. Birdie changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Birdie throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Birdie connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Birdie lands with a good body shot. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Putt Birdie dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

We are yet to see a takedown attempt from Birdie in the fight. On paper you would think he is the more dominant ground fighter so let's see if these unusual tactics pay off. A glancing blow. McMulligan takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Birdie scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Nice cross by Birdie. Birdie drops McMulligan with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but McMulligan looks back up at him and smiles so Birdie waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A left lands for Birdie. McMulligan takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Birdie cracks McMulligan with a hook to the temple - McMulligan is on wobbly legs here! Birdie swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! McMulligan falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Birdie wins by TKO!
