Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Peter Pan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Ricardo DeSonto! The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Sosuke Kotani and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! DeSonto shoots in and bounces Pan off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Pan is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Pan has his feet on DeSonto's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Pan stuffs the takedown. Pan comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Pan scores with a nice head shot. Pan's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Pan duly obliges. Pan lands a nice shot to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pan lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Pan listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Pan!
DeSonto is rocked! Pan connects with a picture perfect right hand that knocks DeSonto out cold! This one is over in a flash!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Peter Pan!
