The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Decent striking displayed by Griggs there.
Stars misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Nice sprawl there from Griggs as Stars shoots in.
Griggs lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Stars at a distance.
Griggs misses with a double jab.
Griggs slaps away a takedown attempt from Stars, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Perry Griggs has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Poker Stars.
Stars shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Griggs as he avoids it easily.
Stars tries to clinch there but Griggs circles away.
A decent looking cross lands there for Griggs.
Nice takedown defense from Griggs. No joy for Stars on that attempt.
Stars looks gassed!
Griggs fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Stars closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
It looks like Poker Stars has been cut.
Griggs feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Stars sprawling to the canvas! Stars rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Griggs finish him?!
Griggs cracks Stars with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Griggs has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Stars to stand back up!
Stars is rocked!
Are you kidding me?! Griggs ducked down and unloaded an uppercut from hell that sent Stars clean off his feet! Someone make me a GIF - that's knockout of the night for sure!
