Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mario Ribeiro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mike Miller could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Mario Ribeiro's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mike Miller! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Mario Ribeiro! The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Frank Dennis and Daniel Franklin.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A combination from Miller does no damage. Miller will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Miller tries to clinch but Ribeiro is having none of it. Miller misses with a series of wild punches.
Miller tests Ribeiro's chin there with a solid looking shot. Nice takedown defense from Miller. No joy for Ribeiro on that attempt. Ribeiro dodges the punch combination from Miller.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ribeiro gets the takedown into side control. Miller is trying to improve his position.
Ribeiro is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Miller is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Miller knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Ribeiro on the ground.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Miller gets back to half guard. Ribeiro is looking to advance position but Miller won't allow it. Ribeiro looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Ribeiro is pressing down on Miller's thigh, looking to free his foot. Miller is holding on for now.
Ribeiro is working for a submission of some sort.
Miller is looking to improve his position.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Ribeiro wants to free his trapped foot but Miller is holding on for dear life with his legs. Miller is looking to improve his position.
Ribeiro tries to pass the half guard into mount. Miller knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
 The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Miller scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Miller trying to control the position but Ribeiro is working away. Ribeiro tries to improve position but can't. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Miller tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Ribeiro struggling a bit here. Miller wants to control but Ribeiro is keeping him busy. Ribeiro tries to improve position but can't. Ribeiro keeps Miller under control for a moment.
 It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Miller throws a right and a left that Ribeiro avoids nicely.
Miller bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Miller is breathing heavily. Miller wants to stand but Ribeiro is controlling his arm. Ribeiro regains half guard. Ribeiro is looking to control Miller's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Ribeiro avoid being mounted?
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Ribeiro makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Ribeiro. Ribeiro is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control.
Miller avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Ribeiro is on top in guard.
Miller keeping moving, preventing Ribeiro from controlling successfully. Miller is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mario Ribeiro dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
Miller throws a series of punches but Ribeiro avoids them all with ease. Miller lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Miller. Ribeiro misses with a takedown and Miller counters with a flying knee. Nice. Miller misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Miller cracks Ribeiro with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Miller looks for a takedown but Ribeiro sprawls well.
Miller drives through with a takedown into guard. Miller missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Miller wants to get up but he can't break Ribeiro's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Ribeiro isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Miller stacks Ribeiro on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Miller! Miller trying to control the position but Ribeiro is working away. Ribeiro is breathing heavily.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Ribeiro sneaks back into half guard. Miller is keen to just control but Ribeiro is a slippery customer.
Ribeiro actively working from the bottom here. Miller wants to control but Ribeiro is keeping him busy.
Ribeiro looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Miller is tying to control. Ribeiro wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
 Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Miller tries to close the distance and clinch up but Ribeiro swats him away and circles back towards the center.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Ribeiro actively working from the bottom here. Ribeiro has hold of Miller's hands but Miller slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow. Ribeiro moves into full guard.

Ribeiro wants to control from the top but Miller keeps moving. Ribeiro passes easily into side control. Nice work.

Ribeiro has hold of Miller's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Miller seems comfortable defending it but Ribeiro has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Miller is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Miller is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Ribeiro couldn't care less - he's delighted!
