The judges for this bout are Albert Achterberg, Daniel Blasius and Wagner Zegers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kerim closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Kerim jumps into guard, dragging Edwards to the mat.
Kerim manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Edwards is trying to escape the mount.
Kerim trying to control but Edwards is having none of it.
Kerim scores with a couple of good head shots there.
Kerim has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Edwards 's face.
Poor strikes thrown by Kerim there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

Kerim unloads with some shots from mount but Edwards bucks and avoids them well.

Kerim darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Kerim wants to work for an arm triangle but Edwards is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Edwards is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
