Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bob Harrison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marc Montes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Bob Harrison!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Marc Montes!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Wagner Zegers and Albert Achterberg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Montes tries to clinch there but Harrison circles away.
Montes throws a sloppy head kick and Harrison moves out of range easily.

Montes bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Harrison manages to get back to half guard.
Montes throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Montes content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
Harrison is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Montes not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Harrison is trying to get back to full guard.
Montes wants to control but Harrison is keeping him busy.
Harrison trying to control from the bottom.
Harrison missing with punches from the bottom.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Montes lands a nice looking kick to the body. Harrison takes a step back to recover.

Montes is looking to take this fight into the clinch.

Montes looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Harrison!
Harrison on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Harrison tries to get out of the position.
Montes with shots to the head and body - Harrison looks very uncomfortable down there.

Montes looking to finish Harrison with some ground and pound. This is bad for Harrison!
Harrison keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Montes cracks Harrison with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Harrison tries to lock up and control but Montes gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Montes tries to push Harrison's head away but Harrison is holding on tight.
Montes trying to control but he's not successful this time.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Montes looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
Harrison tries to hold on but Montes postures up.
Harrison tries to get back to half guard but can't.

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Montes looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Montes is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Harrison can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Montes looking to control but Harrison is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Montes prevents Harrison from getting the reversal.
Montes won't let Harrison get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.
Harrison is bucking up trying to escape but Montes cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Harrison takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Montes lands a nice shot to the head.
Harrison is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Montes breaks from Harrison's wrist control and lands an elbow.
Montes can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Harrison is looking to escape.

Harrison throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing.
Montes trying to control but Harrison is having none of it.
Harrison holds on, trying desperately to control.
Montes lands with some strikes.
Montes avoids the attempt from Harrison to control.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Montes looking to control but Harrison is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Harrison prevents any damage by holding on tight.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Marc Montes dominated that round.

Harrison misses with a head kick.
Montes defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Harrison.

Montes shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Harrison manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Harrison will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Montes cracks Harrison with a solid left hand.
Montes looking to pass the guard.
Harrison has a closed guard, preventing Montes from standing up.
Marc Montes has got the better of the ground game so far.
Harrison working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Montes.
Montes is in close to Harrison's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Montes must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Montes wants to stand but Harrison has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Montes trying to control but Harrison is working from the bottom.
Montes is breathing heavily.

Montes has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Harrison to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Montes is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Harrison pulls down on the head and he's put Montes to sleep! This one is all over!
