Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jack Bantou (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Spike Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bantou comes into the arena with Brownvillian blaring out of the sound system. Jack Bantou has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bantou lands a big head kick that sends Lee tumbling to the mat! Bantou takes a step backwards and waves Lee back to his feet - he wants the finish!

It looks like Spike Lee has been cut.

Lee feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Lee slips a nice elbow through Bantou's hands, connecting with Bantou's forehead.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Bantou connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Bantou tries to bum rush Lee with a series of wild strikes but Lee uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Lee closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Lee thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Bantou's head.
Bantou pushes Lee off looking to stand but Lee dives back in and keeps control.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Lee changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bantou tries to avoid it but Lee manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bantou to the ground. Bantou escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

That was a close second round but I would say that Jack Bantou will probably get the nod.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Jack Bantou.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Bantou, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
