Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Lucaciu Bogdan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Junk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Chris Downing and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Junk stuffs the takedown.
Nice takedown defense from Junk. No joy for Bogdan on that attempt.
Junk scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Junk is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
Bogdan makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!

Junk stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Bogdan swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Junk throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Bogdan shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
Bogdan is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Junk has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Junk is trying to reverse the position but instead Bogdan has taken his back - oops!

Bogdan patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here?
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Bogdan is hanging on to Junk's back as he tries to escape.
Junk is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Bogdan gets his way!
Junk is defending well here and trying to improve his position.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Junk is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Bogdan is staying active.

Junk is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.

Lucaciu Bogdan dominated that second round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!
Bogdan gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Junk throws and elbow that misses. Bogdan uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Junk's guard. Nice move by Bogdan!

Bogdan drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Bogdan jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Junk pulls Bogdan in close to prevent any damage.
Let's hope that Junk has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Junk wants to stand and escape but Bogdan is having none of it.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Junk throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
Junk has his foot on Bogdan's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Bogdan works his way back into a safe position though.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Junk drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Junk is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Bogdan is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Bogdan throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.

John Junk comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Junk has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
