The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Joseph Jones and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Baldwin drives through and clinches with Smith against the cage.
Baldwin is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath.
Smith tries to break the clinch but Baldwin is controlling the position.
Smith tries to pull guard but Baldwin holds him up against the cage and eventually Smith drops back down to his feet.
Baldwin scores a nice knee to the body.
Smith tries to score a body lock takedown but Baldwin shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Baldwin breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Smith clinches with his opponent.
Baldwin using the Thai clinch to land knees to the body.
Baldwin cracks Smith with a nice body shot.
Smith is breathing heavily.
Baldwin unloads a knee to the mid-section. Smith lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.
Baldwin stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
Baldwin lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Smith backwards.
Baldwin has Smith pressed against the cage.
Baldwin managing to block the knees to the body from Smith.
Baldwin manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Baldwin escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Baldwin avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Smith throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Baldwin lands a big head kick that sends Smith to the canvas! Baldwin follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
