Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between William McDonough (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mariusz Pudziadowski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McDonough comes to the cage accompanied by The Beast by Tech N9ne. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, William McDonough! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Mariusz Pudziadowski! The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Radbod Blank and Daniel Blasius.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pudziadowski takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Pudziadowski closes this distance looking for a takedown but McDonough circles away. The fight stays on the outside here - Pudziadowski looks like he's thinking about clinching though. McDonough cracks Pudziadowski with a right hand to the side of the head. McDonough changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. McDonough swings and misses with a hook to the body.
McDonough misses with a looping right. McDonough ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Pudziadowski looks gassed! Pudziadowski has a takedown stuffed. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Pudziadowski slips under a jab from McDonough. Pudziadowski shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. McDonough defends it nicely. William McDonough has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mariusz Pudziadowski. McDonough throws a body punch but Pudziadowski moves out of range. McDonough throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Pudziadowski slips under a jab from McDonough. McDonough drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. McDonough thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
That's one minute gone in the round. McDonough is looking to take a break and control but Pudziadowski is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. McDonough is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Pudziadowski is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. McDonough working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. McDonough looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. McDonough working away. Pudziadowski sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Pudziadowski is looking to improve his position.
McDonough wants to free his trapped foot but Pudziadowski is holding on for dear life with his legs. Pudziadowski wants to get back to full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. McDonough is looking for a kimura but Pudziadowski is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for McDonough to get the leverage. McDonough passes to side control. McDonough trying to control the position but Pudziadowski is working away. McDonough tries to advance to mount but can't. Pudziadowski wants to control but McDonough postures up. Pudziadowski tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but McDonough wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. McDonough tries for a kimura but Pudziadowski is defending well. Pudziadowski manages to get back to half guard. Pudziadowski wants to control but McDonough is keeping busy and won't allow it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. McDonough is working for a submission of some sort.
McDonough wants to control but Pudziadowski is keeping him busy. McDonough looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
McDonough is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Pudziadowski is just riding it out for now. McDonough eventually gives up the hold. Pudziadowski is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
William McDonough dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
McDonough changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Pudziadowski tries to avoid it but McDonough manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Pudziadowski to the ground. Pudziadowski escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. McDonough misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Pudziadowski.

McDonough is looking to wear down Pudziadowski with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. McDonough stuffs the takedown. McDonough leaves Pudziadowski with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Pudziadowski takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Pudziadowski misses with a takedown attempt and McDonough counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. William McDonough has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mariusz Pudziadowski. Pudziadowski uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by McDonough.
McDonough misses the shot to the body. McDonough jabs at Pudziadowski's body. Pudziadowski shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts McDonough as he jumps to the side. Pudziadowski is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pudziadowski has his takedown stuffed and McDonough counters with a nice uppercut. McDonough lands with an overhand left. Pudziadowski showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from McDonough.
Pudziadowski is trying desperately to land a takedown but McDonough is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Pudziadowski. McDonough lands a glancing blow to the side of Pudziadowski's head. William McDonough seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. McDonough jabbing away but nothing is landing. McDonough connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Excellent takedown into side control there by McDonough. McDonough is trying to get an arm triangle but Pudziadowski is defending well. McDonough working away. McDonough is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Pudziadowski is trying to escape and McDonough transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Pudziadowski is forced to tap! Nice work there by McDonough! Very nice indeed!
