The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shoow shoots in for a takedown but Aldo shows good takedown defense.
Shoow tries to clinch but Aldo moves out of range.
Aldo shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Aldo showed some decent athleticism there.
Aldo is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Shoow sees it coming and defends easily.
Aldo is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Shoow!
Shoow is desperately trying to improve his position but Aldo has a good base and remains in mount.

Shoow reaches up to try and control the position but Aldo seems to have an arm triangle now! Uh oh! Shoow rolls and tries to escape and now Aldo has his back!

You can see the frustration on Shoow's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Shoow knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Aldo on the ground.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Aldo is working for the choke. It looks like he might have got it... has he...? Yes! Shoow is tapping out! This one is all over!
