Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mario Gomes Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tiago Shyriu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shyriu has chosen Tema Shiryu - No piano as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Roosa Järviläinen and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shyriu connects with a crisp jab.
Shyriu sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Shyriu tries to close the distance and clinch but Gomes Silva swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Shyriu is looking to clinch but Gomes Silva is avoiding it.
Gomes Silva walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Shyriu wants to clinch up but Gomes Silva keeps it at a distance.
Gomes Silva has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Shyriu finds it's way round the side to connect with Gomes Silva's head.
Gomes Silva takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Shyriu ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Gomes Silva looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Gomes Silva closes the distance and clinches.
Shyriu wants to break the clinch but can't.

Shyriu wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Gomes Silva escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Gomes Silva on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Shyriu connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Gomes Silva shoots in but no luck this time.
Shyriu scores with a jab.
Gomes Silva shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Gomes Silva was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Gomes Silva throws some wild stikes that Shyriu manages to avoid easily.

Shyriu is trying to get back to his feet but can't.
Shyriu wants to control but Gomes Silva is having none of it.
Gomes Silva is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Shyriu to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Shyriu shrugs it off.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Gomes Silva punching from mount but Shyriu doing a good job of avoiding damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Shyriu is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Gomes Silva controlling his opponent.
Shyriu is in all sorts of trouble here.
Shyriu really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Gomes Silva. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Gomes Silva is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Shyriu is forced to tap! Great finish!
