7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ryley Spencer! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rodg Padacteri! The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, John Kavanagh and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Spencer scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Padacteri throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Spencer counters with a right hand to the body. A swing and a miss from Spencer. Spencer looks to score with a jab to the body but Padacteri is just out of range. Padacteri swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Spencer counters with a straight right hand. Padacteri misses with a shot to the body and Spencer counters with a right hand to the body. Padacteri throws a combination. Spencer tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
It looks like Ryley Spencer has been cut. Spencer throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Padacteri lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Spencer backs up against the cage.
Padacteri tries to clinch up and Spencer counters with a two punch combo. Rodg Padacteri seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Padacteri swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Padacteri. Spencer looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Padacteri shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Spencer napping and manages to drive through into side control! Padacteri wants to lay and pray for a moment but Spencer keeps working. Padacteri tries to score with some ground and pound. Spencer controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Spencer defending against the ground and pound. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Padacteri can do anything to dispel that myth. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Spencer manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Spencer is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Spencer pushes Padacteri up against the cage in a clinch. It's got to the stage where if one of these guys blows hard enough, the other might fall over. Spencer tries to pull guard but Padacteri holds him up against the cage and eventually Spencer drops back down to his feet.

Spencer ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Spencer no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Spencer had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Padacteri defends it easily. Padacteri postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
