Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Scurnt Tanner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Louis Arther Cane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Tanner might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to The Faded Line - Lamb of God. Louis Arther Cane acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Scurnt Tanner!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Louis Arther Cane!
The judges for this bout are Nard Betker, Paul Aken and Patrick Alders.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Arther Cane throws a right hand that Tanner ducks under and follows up with a left that Tanner also avoids with ease.

Arther Cane gets a clinch.
Arther Cane can't break the clinch.
Tanner is looking to break free of the clinch but Arther Cane has double underhooks.

Arther Cane jumps into guard, dragging Tanner to the mat.
Arther Cane is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Tanner is looking to stand up but Arther Cane won't let him.
Arther Cane is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
Arther Cane has a closed guard, preventing Tanner from standing up.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Tanner sitting in guard, not really doing much.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Arther Cane is on top in guard.

Tanner looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Arther Cane passes into side control.
Arther Cane advances to full mount.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Arther Cane gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks!
Tanner throws an overhand right that lands on Arther Cane's shoulder, as Arther Cane tries to avoid the shot.

Arther Cane has closed the distance and engaged Tanner in a clinch.

Arther Cane decides to pull guard.
Tanner won't allow Arther Cane to sweep him here.

Arther Cane keeping moving, preventing Tanner from controlling successfully.
Arther Cane wants to sweep here but Tanner controlling him for the moment.
Tanner prevents Arther Cane from getting back to his feet.
Tanner trying to control the position from guard on top but Arther Cane is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Arther Cane has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Arther Cane dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Arther Cane keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Louis Arther Cane is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Tanner avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Arther Cane rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Tanner moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Tanner tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Arther Cane lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

Arther Cane ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Arther Cane no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Tanner looking to sit in guard and control but Arther Cane gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Tanner is breathing heavily.
Tanner looking to hit a scissor sweep but Arther Cane is one step ahead there.
Tanner wants to stand and escape but Arther Cane is having none of it.
Tanner controls Arther Cane momentarily but Arther Cane frees himself.
Arther Cane slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Louis Arther Cane dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Tanner pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Tanner tries a head kick but it misses.

Arther Cane closes the distance and pushes Tanner back into the cage.
Arther Cane keeps control of Tanner as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Tanner blocks an elbow strike from Arther Cane.

Arther Cane pulls guard successfully.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Arther Cane is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Tanner wants to pass the guard but Arther Cane is keeping the position.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Arther Cane is on top in guard.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Tanner is striking from the bottom but Arther Cane uses the opportunity to pass into half guard.

Tanner has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Arther Cane is working away from the top position though.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Arther Cane looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Tanner tries to kick Arther Cane off in order to stand up. Arther Cane Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
Tanner is letting Arther Cane control him for a moment.
Tanner tries to get back to half guard but can't.
The referee asks Arther Cane politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Arther Cane prefers to stall for the moment though.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Arther Cane grinds an elbow into Tanner's temple.
Tanner takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head.
Tanner is trying to improve his position.
Arther Cane takes a little break here. Tanner wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.

Arther Cane is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Tanner knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Arther Cane tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Tanner tries to bench press Arther Cane off him but Arther Cane keeps the position.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Louis Arther Cane showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!


Arther Cane throws a nice looking combination but Tanner bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Arther Cane blocks a head kick by Tanner.
Tanner fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Arther Cane lands with an overhand left.
Tanner tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Tanner takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Arther Cane misses with the combination.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Tanner needs to keep his hands up - Arther Cane had a free shot at his head there.

Arther Cane closes the distance and clinches.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Tanner is trying to maintain a safe position but Arther Cane gets an underhook and turns Tanner into the cage.
Tanner wants to break the clinch but can't.
A quick uppercut on the inside from Tanner.
Tanner wants a takedown.
Tanner is pressed up against the cage. Arther Cane has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Tanner down to the mat. Tanner avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Tanner throws a head kick but Arther Cane moves out of range.
Arther Cane throws a combination. Tanner tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

Arther Cane drives through and clinches with Tanner against the cage.
Arther Cane avoiding damage as Tanner throws knees to the body.
Arther Cane has Tanner pressed against the cage, preventing Tanner from circling away and getting back to striking at range.

Arther Cane breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Tanner closes the distance looking to clinch
and Arther Cane counters with a left and a right that stings Tanner.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Arther Cane closes the distance and pushes Tanner back into the cage.
Arther Cane wants to break free but Tanner has control.
Tanner fails to pull the fight into his guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Scurnt Tanner. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Arther Cane has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Tanner is trying to keep an underhook but Arther Cane manages to get the takedown into half guard.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Tanner wants to sweep but Arther Cane has passed to side control!
Tanner gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there!

Tanner is trying to reverse the position but instead Arther Cane has taken his back - oops!

Arther Cane trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure Tanner doesn't escape.
I really don't envy Tanner right now.

Arther Cane is cranking Tanner's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Tanner! He's tightened the choke and Tanner is tapping out!
