Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
13 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jordan Lee! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Yokohama Humahuta! The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Steve Smith and Ian Loll.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Humahuta uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Lee. Horrible takedown by Lee or perhaps it was just good defense by Humahuta which made him look bad. Lee tries a head kick but it misses.
Lee throws a head kick but Humahuta moves out of range.
A big right from Lee misses. Lee is looking to land body kicks. Lee fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Humahuta on the side of the head. Lee misses with a hook. Humahuta dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Lee with a hook. Humahuta displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Lee. Lee misses with a head kick.
Lee fails with a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jordan Lee. That's going to take a lot out of him. Humahuta walks into a stiff left hand from Lee.
That's one minute gone in the round. Humahuta punishes Lee's body with a nice straight punch. Lee is breathing heavily. Lee wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Humahuta displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Lee throws out the jab. Lee looks to score with a jab to the body but Humahuta is just out of range. Lee lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Lee closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Humahuta controlling the position for now. Lee is trying to work for a kimura but Humahuta is defending well.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Lee stops Humahuta from getting back to his feet.
Lee is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Humahuta gets full guard. Lee prevents Humahuta from getting back to his feet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Humahuta looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Lee thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Lee stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Humahuta swivels though and keeps the full guard.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Lee dodges the punch combination from Humahuta.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Humahuta fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Lee manages to avoid it. Lee fails with a takedown attempt. Lee tries for a takedown but Humahuta sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Humahuta scores with a nice head shot. Jordan Lee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Lee lands a jab to the nose. Lee misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Humahuta.
Humahuta stuffs the takedown. Humahuta tries to move into range but Lee moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. A looping hook to the body misses from Lee. Humahuta does a little dance to reset his feet. Lee works the jab nicely. Nice defenses there by Humahuta. Lee fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Lee lands a high kick!

Lee shoots in for a takedown but Humahuta shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Lee takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Humahuta blocks a head kick by Lee.

This has been an exciting period of action! Humahuta is trying to control but can't.

Yokohama Humahuta dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Humahuta leaves Lee with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jordan Lee. That's going to take a lot out of him. Lee ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Humahuta moves away. Humahuta throws a big shot that misses. Lee throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Humahuta throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Lee is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Humahuta's half guard. Lee is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Humahuta defends it well. Lee tries to pass the half guard into mount. Humahuta knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. Lee is working for a submission of some sort.
Humahuta regains full guard. Nicely done. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Humahuta bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Lee's guard. Lee is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Humahuta defends well. Humahuta content to stall in guard here. Humahuta looking to pass the guard. Lee looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.

Humahuta stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lee swivels though and keeps the full guard.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Lee shoots in for a takedown but Humahuta shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Lee misses with a looping right. Humahuta uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Lee. Humahuta looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Lee ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Humahuta moves away. Lee misses with a head kick.
Lee shoots for a double leg takedown but Humahuta sprawls well. He's pushed Lee's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Lee tries to score a power double leg takedown but Humahuta sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Lee somewhat. Humahuta throws a hook to the side of Lee's head but Lee sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Lee takes a body punch but keeps moving. Lee misses the body punch and Humahuta counters with a lovely straight right hand! Humahuta bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Lee's head. Humahuta staying out of range there. Lee changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Humahuta tries to avoid it but Lee manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Humahuta to the ground. Humahuta escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. A big left from Lee misses. Lee swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Lee misses with a body punch
and Humahuta cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Lee misses with an uppercut. Humahuta misses the shot to the body. Lee closes this distance looking for a takedown but Humahuta circles away. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Nice cross by Humahuta. Humahuta swings and misses with a hook to the body.
A telegraphed right hand from Lee misses the target. Humahuta thuds his right hand into Lee's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Yokohama Humahuta showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!
Humahuta gets caught flat footed, as Lee shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Humahuta controls Lee momentarily but Lee frees himself. Humahuta avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Lee is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Humahuta is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Humahuta has escaped and now he's on top! Humahuta controlling from the top position. Lee is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Humahuta tries to free his leg and advance position but Lee is retaining full guard. Lee preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Humahuta sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Lee's guard. Lee is looking for a sweep. Humahuta is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lee looking for submissions off his back. Humahuta works his foot free and advances to mount. Lee tries to lock up and control but Humahuta gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Lee can't escape the position.
Lee is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Humahuta takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Humahuta trying to control but Lee is having none of it. Lee wants to control but Humahuta is having none of it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Lee is wriggling around trying to escape.

Despite being in the dominant position, Yokohama Humahuta just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Lee throws a hook to the side of Humahuta's head but Humahuta sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Lee swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Humahuta takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Lee scores with a hook to the body. Humahuta takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Lee misses with a low kick as Humahuta jumps back. Yokohama Humahuta seems to be getting the better of the standup. Lee throws out a loose jab but Humahuta uses good head movement to avoid it. Jordan Lee has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Lee lands an overhand right. Lee takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. A leg kick checked by Humahuta. Humahuta defending well as Lee loads up on a big left hand. Lee throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Lee misses with an uppercut. Humahuta ducks under a wild hook from Lee. Humahuta checks a leg kick. Lee misses with a wild body shot.
And that's the end of the fight! Yokohama Humahuta comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Humahuta winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
