The judges for this bout are Mauricio Rocha, Edson Gomes and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gracie misses with a low kick.
A punch combination from Noons misses.
Gracie misses with a kick to the body.
Gracie just misses with a punch to the body.
Gracie throws a front kick aimed at Noons's knee but Noons avoids it well.
Gracie tries to score with a low kick but Noons moves his leg out of the way.
Noons lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Gracie circles away quickly and effectively.
Noons tries to bum rush Gracie with a series of wild strikes but Gracie uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Noons checks a leg kick.
A nice combination there by Noons.
Gracie throws a front kick aimed at Noons's knee but Noons avoids it well.
Gracie misses with an attempted mid kick.
Gracie misses with a low kick.
Noons misses with the combination.
Noons drops Gracie with a beautiful combination! Gracie stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Noons is looking for the KO!
Gracie is rocked!
Noons blocks the body kick.
Gracie tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Noons is able to avoid easily.
Noons lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Noons throws a series of punches but Gracie moves out of range.
Gracie motions for Noons to come forward. Gracie throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Gracie throws a push kick but Noons slaps the foot to one side.
Noons lands a two punch combo.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Gracie seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Noons shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Gracie is backing up but Noons catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Gracie covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Noons Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:04 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Karl James Noons!
