Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Yoshida Kotaro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Drake Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kotaro comes to the cage accompanied by Dance Yourself Clean. On his way into the cage it seems that Yoshida Kotaro has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Yoshida Kotaro seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kotaro avoids the head kick by Davis.
Kotaro tries to close the distance and clinch up but Davis swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Kotaro.
Davis throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Kotaro misses with a low kick.
Davis throws a right and a left that Kotaro avoids nicely.

Kotaro closes the distance and clinches.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Davis checks the leg kick.
Davis pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Davis looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Kotaro really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Good anti-grappling being displayed by Kotaro as Davis tries to tie him up.
Kotaro landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
Kotaro scores with a knee to the head.

Kotaro's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Davis takes a head kick and keeps coming.

It looks like Drake Davis has been cut.

Kotaro takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Kotaro feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Davis's calf.
Davis looks gassed!
Kotaro with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Kotaro lands a big head kick that sends Davis tumbling to the mat! Kotaro takes a step backwards and waves Davis back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Davis is rocked!

Kotaro takes the fight into the clinch.

Kotaro escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Kotaro keeps Davis at a distance using the push kick.
Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Kotaro! Davis is out on his feet! Kotaro rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Davis is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Davis is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.
