Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Markus Humpert (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dynamite Roll (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Markus Humpert!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dynamite Roll!
The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Jack Bonds.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Roll moves into the clinch.

Roll gets control of Humpert's arms and successfully pulls guard. Roll will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Roll is looking to stand up but Humpert isn't so interested in that idea.
Humpert passes Roll's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

Roll is staying active underneath Humpert, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Roll has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Humpert is working away from the top position though.

Humpert is looking to improve his position but Roll isn't that keen on the idea.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
A nice combination there by Roll.

Humpert gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Roll wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Humpert, who protects the arm well.
Humpert tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Roll wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Dynamite Roll showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

Roll has closed the distance and engaged Humpert in a clinch.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

Roll lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.

Roll is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Humpert can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Roll shoots for a double leg takedown but Humpert sprawls well. He's pushed Roll's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Humpert is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Roll scores with a couple of nice shots.
Roll is keen to just control but Humpert is a slippery customer.
Roll uses his free foot to push down on Humpert's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Humpert.

Roll is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Humpert defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

Roll is looking to control Humpert but Humpert is wriggling around and keeping busy.
Humpert manages to reverse the position and now he's in Roll's guard. Nice work there by Humpert.
Roll has Humpert pulled in close to control his posture.
Roll looking to hit a scissor sweep but Humpert is one step ahead there.
Roll manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Humpert manages to get himself to full guard.
Markus Humpert has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Humpert is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Roll scores with a decent looking elbow strike.
Humpert looking to hit a scissor sweep but Roll is one step ahead there.
Roll landing with the ground and pound.
Humpert avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Roll wants to control from the top but Humpert keeps moving.

Roll gets to his feet. Humpert looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Dynamite Roll is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.

Dynamite Roll comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Roll has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
