Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between arman bactat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ezio Auditore (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ezio Auditore told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck with that takedown attempt from bactat.
Auditore looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!

Auditore gets the takedown into side control.
bactat tries to get back to his feet but has found himself mounted instead. Damn, that's gotta suck.
bactat is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
bactat sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
bactat is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
bactat slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.

bactat throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
bactat is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
bactat is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Auditore striking from the bottom but nothing landed.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Auditore is trying to control bactat's posture but bactat avoids it.

bactat stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and bactat wants it to stay on the feet.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Auditore looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? bactat is fending him off so far but Auditore persists. Nope, bactat circles away and we're back to standing.

That was a close second round but I would say that arman bactat will probably get the nod.
That's time! bactat's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!

and Auditore counters with a shoot takedown. bactat fights it but they end up in guard.

bactat has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Auditore off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

and Auditore counters with a single leg into guard. bactat didn't expect that.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Auditore wants to stand but bactat is controlling his posture from full guard.
Auditore must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Auditore gets to his feet - bactat follows without any prompting.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
bactat changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Auditore tries to avoid it but bactat manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Auditore to the ground. Auditore escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Auditore misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Auditore fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
bactat throws a head kick but Auditore moves out of range.
Auditore misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Auditore throws a right and a left that bactat avoids nicely.

Auditore closes the distance and clinches.

bactat's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

bactat is trying to stand but he's not in a good position to be doing that! Auditore has taken his back!

bactat drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Auditore dives on top into guard.
bactat wants to get back to his feet but Auditore is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Auditore with a flurry of punches that miss.
Auditore slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
bactat manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Auditore manages to get himself to full guard.

Auditore has an active guard here but bactat has managed to pass into half guard.
Auditore tries to kick bactat off but bactat keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.

Ezio Auditore comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
