Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Wesley Smith and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Griffin moves out of range of the body kick from sumampong.
micheal sumampong seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
sumampong shoots in but Griffin avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Griffin shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has sumampong pinned against the cage. sumampong gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
sumampong leaves Griffin with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

Griffin sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!

Forrest Griffin showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
